Position: HR Head - Nordics (Preferred location Stockholm, Sweden)

We see this role as critical for the achievement of Wipro's growth in Nordics regions and organizational transformation goals.

The successful candidate will own the HR agenda in Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Finland and become a real business partner to a talented and dynamic management team, as well as a high contributor to the business strategy. He/she will align HR priorities with the business while importantly building and driving innovative and analytical approach to HR.

In addition, HR leader will be part of the broader HR Leadership Community, sharing best practice & contributing to the development of the overall HR function.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Be the primary HR Business partner for Wipro-Nordics business working closely with the leaders to design, conceptualise and execute HR strategy for the business
  • As an HR Business partner, lead and contribute with a hands-on approach to the people management across Talent management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Retention and Engagement
  • Work closely with teams based globally supporting Nordics business across Sales/Pre-sales, Delivery, Practices and Functions as the HR Business partner
  • Provide proactive, reliable, operational and advisory support to the organization
  • Workingclose to the business in coaching our leaders across a wide range of HR- and other business related matters such as reorganizations, acquisitions, recruitments, talent development and engagement. Be a strong sparring partner, knowledgeable on how to execute investigations, and resolve employee and labor relations issues.
  • Together with leaders ensure that onboarding, training, coaching, development, and offboarding is well handled.
  • Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic plans
  • Keep company compliant on policies in accordance with the local employment laws
  • Analyze and implement changes in processes and policies to make it more robust
  • Lead regional people transition (under local regulations) activities in case pf people transfers and manage these projects
  • Review and analyze various data points including compensation relation details to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve organizational results.
  • Negotiate with unions and work councils on topics like salary hikes, changes in policies, transitions etc.
  • Provide employee data for local audits as required
  • Handle People processes like Performance management, Promotions, Salary hike etc. for the region in accordance with the corporate guidelines
  • Run cross functional projects in collaboration with national and international teams
  • Connect with the business organization and act as a team-player with the rest of the HR teams

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a talentedindividual who willcombine strategic abilities with a hands-on way of working supporting the leaders in their day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be a strategic solution provider as well as operational enabler.
  • Graduation or Post Graduation with specialization in HR preferred
  • Legal background with focus on employee relations would be an added advantage
  • At least 12+ years of Human Resources Management Experience in an international company, preferably in IT companies
  • Experience liaising and communicating with multiple stakeholders ideally in a matrix and international organization
  • Excellence in setting direction and driving results and transition with wider teams
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, understand the KPIs and has an interest to work in a number driven organization
  • Capability to navigate in a complex organization and challenge status quo
  • Humble, comfortable and effective in a hands-on, team-oriented matrix environment
  • Ability to work with diverse and remote teams
  • Ability to manage and participate in multiple projects, priorities, and groups, manage timelines and prioritize and stay focused
  • Strong solution focus, structured, comfortable working in an environment which demands high calibre deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Preferable to have experience in managing relationships with Work Councils/unions and deep understanding of local Labour laws and legislation
  • Business fluency in English and preferably one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian).
