Job Title: CAD/CAM/CAE Usage, Application Design, Development and Consulting -

Location: Milford, OH (Remote is also an option)

Skills:

Proficient using CAD/CAM/CAE tools to develop and manufacture products in either mechanical or electrical/electronic product spaces. Able to develop and use 1D, 2D and 3D models.

Proficient creating software application designs and developing solutions based on CAD/CAE/CAM application programming interfaces, macros, import and export functions to solve data integration problems including model updates, processing data in the native system and extracting information form the native systems. Candidates must have custom application development experience with one or more of the following CAD systems: CATIA, NX and/or Creo.

Experience with object-oriented approaches using Python, C, C++, C#, and Java.

Able to establish and maintain delivery schedules for projects with very short delivery schedules.

Able to work independently and as part of team across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and support software based on application programming interfaces to customer selected CAD/CAM/CAE systems.

Use application API's and ITI developed libraries to develop interfaces to CAD/CAM/CAE systems.

Use application API's and ITI developed libraries to improve and expand on existing interfaces to CAD/CAM/CAE systems.

Use application API's and ITI developed libraries to resolve testing or customer reported issues to existing interfaces to CAD/CAM/CAE systems.

Install and configure CAD/CAM/CAE software tools in ITI environment.

Run tools and scripts and analyze information to deliver data for custom projects.

Process large sets of data to determine content, status and validity of files provided by customer and report results.

Use tools such as the CAD Auditor or Proficiency to analysis specific file contents. Use the raw data to generate reports to help ITI and the customer understand the environment.

Run part or all large data migration projects using Proficiency. This includes configuring the environment, processing data, and tuning the migration process parameters, running the data, reviewing results and presenting findings.

Use CAD/CAM/CAE tools to model information required for customer delivery and/or application testing.

Create models in CAD/CAM/CAE systems to support customer projects and enable the model to be used for automation.

Create models and scripts in CAD systems to support processes that use information from models for other downstream processes.

Create models in CAD/CAM/CAE systems and associated programs/scripts to read the data from the models, update the models, process the simulation, and package results.

Perform model cleanup and completion for models migrated using automation. This includes reading the feature tree/spec tree to find root cause of issue, taking action to resolve the problem in 3D and 2D. In drawings complete and finish dimensions and notes.
