ITI, a Wipro company and a global leader in PLM and CAD interoperability solutions, is seeking a Business Development Representative to operate from its Landshut, Germany office.

International TechneGroup Limited is the UK subsidiary and the European headquarters of ITI. International TechneGroup, Ltd. - Niederlassung, Deutschland operates from our offices in Landshut, Germany.ITI's data interoperability software and service solutions enable the effective reuse of 3D CAD data between PLM, CAD, CAM and CAE software packages, and include:
CADfix - 3D model translation, repair and simplification for diverse downstream engineering applications including CAE, CAD, CAM, VR, AM and plant engineering
CADIQ - 3D CAD model geometry and product manufacturing information (PMI) quality checking and comparison for MBE process validation
Proficiency and GoToINVENTOR - software and service solution for the automatic feature-based conversion of CAD data between native CAD systems to support multi-CAD system consolidation, harmonization and legacy data migration.
International TechneGroup Limited is looking for a Business Development Representative to be engaged in the sale of its leading data interoperability solutions.

Position Summary

Operating in a consultative sales environment for technical products and services, and reporting to the Manager of Business Development in Landshut Germany, the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Manage and increase product and service sales within the DACH region and Europe
  • Assist and directly engage in lead follow-up activities; qualification calls, emails and online meetings as assigned by line manager.
  • Effectively move qualified leads to a prospect, hosting and supporting the technical discovery and solution overview meetings.
  • Effectively utilize ITI's application engineer resources for software testing and benchmarks in support of the prospect engagements
  • Present ITI solutions to qualified prospects
  • Create commercial proposals and undertake sales negotiations
  • Manage assigned referral and/or reseller partners
  • Manage assigned existing customers and strategic accounts
  • Ensure the renewal of assigned software maintenance (MES) contracts
  • Contribute to marketing and lead generation activities, including manning exhibition stands and presenting at conferences
    The position is based at the ITI location in Landshut, Germany. The role may require limited travel as required to meet prospective and existing customers and attend trade shows in Europe.
    • The position is full-time: 40 hours per week.

Candidate

The ideal candidate would be a graduate with technical or engineering degree with prior consulting, B2B and solution sales experience. The candidate should have a general understanding of CAD software and/or design and manufacturing technology.

The candidate should be a native German speaker with fluency in English, living near or our have ease of access to the Landshut offices for collaboration and support from the Business Development Manager based in Landshut.

Being part of a small team requires the candidate to be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently but be part of the larger world-wide sales team focused on achieving the company's objectives. The candidate should possess a desire grow and move into a senior sales role within the organization.

Candidate Requirements
  • Degree education or work-related equivalent in Information Technology, CAD, PLM, Engineering or Manufacturing technology
  • Experience or general knowledge of CAD/interoperability systems desired
  • Experience of selling software products or services
  • Experience in a consultative software sales environment
  • Experience in customer account management
  • Demonstrable ability to confidently communicate with clients
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM/ERP systems
  • Written and oral communication skills in both English and German
  • Well organized and ability to work on your own initiative and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work and communicate within a multidisciplinary team, including sales, support, and product development
  • Valid, clean driving license
  • Ability to travel
