Job Description
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Digital Analytics Implementation team under the Data group. This position acts as the critical liaison between marketing, development teams, and external partners, ensuring the successful planning, research, and execution of ad tech initiatives. This role will focus on ad technology implementations, including pixel tracking, compliance with privacy laws, and new digital advertising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the marketing team to gather and document requirements for the implementation of ad tech pixels, particularly on platforms such as Facebook and Floodlight, encompassing the placement of 250-350 new tags across various pages of our digital properties (e.g., aa.com).
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and lead the implementation or updates of necessary tags.
• Proactively investigate and troubleshoot issues affecting pixel performance due to changes in application pages, ensuring a seamless digital experience for users.
• Work in tandem with application product teams to validate that all ad technology placements operate as intended and meet established success criteria.
• Partner closely with legal and privacy teams to navigate and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA for all ad tech implementations.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, safeguarding ongoing adherence to privacy regulations and industry best practices.
• Oversee the transition to new implementations with developers, ensuring comprehensive testing for pixel functionality to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
• Lead initiatives like the LiveRamp Authenticated Traffic Solution (ATS), guiding the coordination with the vendor to thoroughly understand implementation requirements.
• Maintain a focus on enhanced conversion processes and Continuous API (CAPI) to assess implementation needs and ensure alignment with business objectives and privacy regulations.
• Foster innovative thinking by implementing actionable solutions to optimize ad technology initiatives.
• Define measurable success metrics for each initiative, collaborating with data teams to monitor, report on, and analyze campaign performance effectively.
• Keep meticulous documentation regarding pixels and measurement strategies to support organizational knowledge and transparency.
• Establish and refine best practices for ad tech operations and data quality management across online channels while configuring analytics technology and effectively interpreting data.
• Work closely with marketing stakeholders to identify their business goals and develop feasible solutions for tracking requirements.
• Collaborate with both vendors and internal teams to formulate effective reporting strategies, ensuring that data collection is precise and reliable.
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in ad operations, digital marketing, web analytics, or similar roles is essential.
• Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML and JavaScript, particularly as they relate to ad tech, is necessary.
• Proven experience with Tealium Tag Manager or similar tagging solutions is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in managing analytics or development projects is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
• Experience in dynamic pixel implementations alongside familiarity with tools such as LiveRamp, Enhanced Conversion, and CAPI will be beneficial.
• Previous experience working with external vendors to facilitate the successful implementation of ad tech solutions is highly valued.
• Awareness of tracking and attribution best practices in cookie-less environments is a strong plus.
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining a focus on timely results, is essential.

Compensation Range: $25-$34/HR
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
