Boomi Integration Architect

Job Summary:

As a Boomi Integration Architect, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and build of the core integration platform, planning and selecting the appropriate connectors and solutions and overseeing the development and deployment of integration services. Co-ordinate with the technical leads for designing and delivery of API and integration services on the Boomi integration. Expertise with Boomi connectors, templates, and best practices to design and implement integration workflows that meet business requirements and ensure high quality and performance. Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of integration solutions with business objectives and IT strategy.

Responsibilities

• Enhance services on Boomi iPaaS to build solutions that connect applications and data.
• Assist with solution planning for new clients and translate business requirements into a technical approach.
• Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives.
• Ensure high quality and performance of integration processes by following Boomi standards and best practices.
• Define best practices and standards for software design, build, platform governance, observability, monitoring, and automation.
• Collaborate with developers, enterprise architects, and business and IT stakeholders to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of Boomi engineers.
• Define, document, and maintain the integration services catalog and standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance and availability of integration platforms and services.
• Provide hands-on design, coding, testing, and support of Boomi API and Process design.
• Work in a globally distributed development team environment with minimal supervision.
• Oversee all phases of the development life cycle on client engagements.
• Follow good practices and project guidelines including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, test-case-based development, and proper documentation practices.
• Maintain and contribute to the user and developer documentation.
• Advocate and follow best design and development practices adhering to Engineering standards.
• Participate in the Design and peer Code Review process.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years as a technical architect delivering enterprise integration platform solutions using Boomi iPaaS.
• Solid foundations in Computer systems, data structure, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with projects involving merger and acquisition, hospitality domain, ECommerce, Finance and Human resource domain is preferred.
• Understanding of Cloud-native principles and their implementation.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with APIs, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST etc.
• Experience with various application domains such as Salesforce, Workday, AWS, SAP, ServiceNow, Netsuite etc.
• Experience with hybrid deployment models, data management, governance, and quality.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in JavaScript / Java / Groovy.
• 3+ years of experience in design & development of APIs.
• 2+ years of experience in SQL & NO-SQL database design & development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must have Boomi Architect Certification.
