Job Description-

  • Manage and Maintain Control-M environment
  • Implementing any security or upgrade patches to the Control-M environment
  • Work directly with individual applications to facilitate their Control-M upgrade Delivery, implementation and support of additional Control-M modules ( Forecast / Batch Impact Manager / Self Service / File Transfer )
  • Upgrade and new product introduction of BMC CONTROL-M environment from current 6.4 release to the newer 8.0 release in all of their environments.
  • High skill level of Control-M Tuning.
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum platform availability and prompt and accurate remediation of issues
  • Actively manage infrastructure to drive efficiency
  • Collaborate with development team and vendors to resolve issues and improve our platform
  • Daily support of the Control-M environment including resolving Incident Tickets / Service Requests / Change Tickets / DR tests as required.
  • Provide on-call support

Professional Skill/Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge implementing and configuring BMC's Control-M in high availability enterprise environment.
  • Prior in-depth experience automating and monitoring large-scale, enterprise-wide, mission critical platforms
  • Working knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, PERL, Shell Scripting,VBS, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Windows, LINUX and SQL Strong communication;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with others, be strategically focused, and constantly looking to improve our environment
  • Working knowledge of other scheduling platforms (e.g., Tidal, AutoSys, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of component security with SSL and Full Control-M and EM Security.
  • Excellent Control-M installation, configuration and administration skills for versions 640,7,8.
  • Excellent Control-M batch development skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of the CTM, EM and CCM databases and structure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Control-M modules.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent Unix skills Excellent korn shell skills
  • Good working knowledge of SCP , SSH, Oracle, AIX, Wintel, Linux (SUSE), Solaris and Networks.
  • Perl, VBS, Java would be a bonus but not essential.

Mandatory Skills: BMC Control M.
