Backup Engineer
Responsibilities:
Overview - You will be working with Engineering, Delivery Engineers/Specialist, System Engineers/Specialist, and Managed Services Provider (MSP) to build out professional services practices (installation, integration, applications, migration, scripting)
Key Skill:
- Cohesity Backup Technology hands on experience in implementing from scratch
- Well versed with backup technologies like Netbackup or Networker
- Understands the technical complexities in managing backup infrastructure
Implementation
- Collaboration with MSP and internal ITSM for Cohesity project delivery
- Act as implementation focal point for key / high-profile implementations

Development & Documentation
- Write and validate the implementation/integration best practices
- Develop pre-installation survey and planning documents to prepare for install
- Develop workflows to validate implementations
- Develop sample post deployment documentation
- Provide feedback to engineering on ways to improve the implementation experience
Knowledge Sharing
- Convert best practices into a training curriculum
- Deliver hands-on training in small-group formats
- Mentor trainees in the field
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years IT experience
- Experience in these technical areas is required
