ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Wind River Systems is looking for a high-performing Senior Member of the Technical Staff for Engineering Quality Solution (EQS) Group to grow our Software Quality Assurance team.
The successful candidate will join the Engineering Quality Solutions team and grow with a high-impact team supporting the governance of software quality, safety and security across all products, and will collaborate across the Product Engineering Organization for impact in software quality assurance programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mobilization of Quality Management System (QMS) and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) for one or more products
- Lead software quality governance and certification programs for one or more products
- Perform process and product audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Review artifacts and provide guidance to conform to standards
- Support the customer alignment process for quality assurance programs
- Plan and guide product development teams in the creation and implementation of cross-functional policies, standards, processes, and procedures
- Tailor industry standards and best practices to program needs by facilitating implementation of processes and provide training
- Support company-wide policy, standards, processes, and procedures development
- Increasing growth to support product quality, safety and security governance programs
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- BSc degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 7+ years demonstrated success in compliance mobilization
- Relevant technical experience in software development
- Preferred: Certified Auditor or Compliance Certificate
- Certification Experience is plus

The successful candidate must be able to influence and inspire cross-functional empowerment for success and alignment of compliance outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience with the implementation of quality frameworks, process models, and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, QMS, SafeQM, ASPICE, DO-178C etc.)
- Demonstrated success shaping, leading, and executing compliance programs
- Experience advocating and influencing compliance programs from individual contributors to senior management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to shared success
- Strong facilitation, project management and training skills
- Proficient with managing and communicating compliance deliverables and artifacts
- Proficient with data analysis, aggregation, and reporting
- Strong communications skills written and verbal
It will be great if you also have:
- Experience in definition and deployment of new Software Development Lifecycle processes based on Agile
- Experience in intelligent systems and embedded systems product verticals
