IT’S WHO YOU ARE  

 We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Oracle Apps DBA to join our dynamic IT team. As a Senior Oracle Apps DBA, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining all aspects of the Oracle Applications environment, including but not limited to installation, cloning, configuration, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, tuning and System Administration. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of database backup and recovery strategies, as well as experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and managing database performance. The Senior DBA will be responsible for developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure the continuity of our business operations in the event of a system failure.  In Addition, the senior DBA will support other applications such but not limited to OKTA Administration.  

Responsibilities:  

• Full Understanding of the E-Business Suite R12.2 with its architecture
• Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, Oracle quarterly patch installs
• Perform standard DBA support tasks for multiple instances, multiple servers including but not limited to:
  • Support of Health Checks, Performance tuning, 24x7 On Call Support , Troubleshooting and  Application team support
  • Database – Installs configurations, cloning, patching/upgrades, Migrations, Database/System Management, Load balancing, System Documentation
  • Data – Backup/Recovery Design, Implementation and Regular testing
  • Security Releases patching and Regular Patch Installs
  • Quarterly Readiness Support and Customer support
  • Code Migration
• Support of OKTA Administration and Splunk .
• Support of Fusion Middleware (SOA12c) , Applications in AWS Environments , Rubrik Backup.

Qualifications  

• Experience in Oracle  R12.2 , oracle databases and WebLogic is required
• Must have at least six years of experience supporting as an Application and Database Administrator in an Oracle R12.2
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have strong experience working within Teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must hold a BS degree in a relevant discipline such as MIS, IT, Computer Science
• Remote Work Hours: Monday-Friday , Preferably , US PST Timezone (or rotation)
• 24/7 On Call Production Support (rotation)

Preferred experience includes:  

• Experience with OKTA  Admin is a plus.
• Experience with AWS environment  is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion SOA12c a plus.
• Experience with Splunk a plus
• Experience with Rubrik a plus
