ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY  

We are currently looking for a new member of the team to support our growing channel business. The Channel Operations Partner is the single point of contact for ensuring operational excellence for our Global Channel and Partner Programs.

 

Candidates will have a foundational understanding of how channel sales models work and how to operationalize. Successful candidates will be able to create new ways to engage with key stakeholders to develop and scale global programs. You will act as a key advisor to Sales and other organizations within the company for  channel programs.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Channel Program frameworks in tandem with the Director Global Alliances – Distributor and Channels. Partnering with internal groups to establish process with a focus on automation, operational efficiencies and measurement.
  • Develop Program Guidelines for Channel Partners, educate local Sales Owners and manage program metrics.
  • Provide input on technology updates to support the channel strategy.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics for the Channel team. Maintain reporting for Channel Programs and business through Salesforce and Looker.
  • Establish operational excellence by ensuring that Channel Partners are onboarded successfully including but not limited to overseeing the contract review process working with Channel Partner to set up Wind River as a vendor.
  • Act as a Program Manager to support the onboarding and Channel engagement experience.
  • Ensure we have stakeholder alignment, coordinate approval requests, and track through the close process.

 

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in software selling models and process flow with channels
  • Project Management experience
  • Analytical prowess, strong analytical skill to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to understand broader business and financial issues and juggle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to act autonomously, and make quick sound decisions
  • Excellent organizational and execution skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator with exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment to help meet deadlines and effectively maximize Wind River resources.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and reporting tools (Looker)

Compensation        

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $107,00 to $140,000 plus bonus for residents in the states of Colorado, New York and New Jersey; and $110,000 to $145,000 plus bonus for residents in the states of California and Washington, and the NYC area. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, location and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, 12 paid holidays.
