Technology Director - Global Network Operations

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute the network operations strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management for network services.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of the network.
  • Monitor network health and lead efforts to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Lead and mentor network engineers, analysts, and operations staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Direct response to major network incidents and outages.
  • Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network security policies.
  • Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
  • Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Required Qualifications, US:
  • 10+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Management experience
  • 10 years experience in managing large-scale enterprise networks
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • work experience in a formal structured engineering organization with a proven track record managing large-scale enterprise networks
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and leading people directly in top tier organization.
  • Experience aligning network operations with business strategy and digital transformation goals.
  • Mindset and drive to enable truly impactful and transformational initiatives despite roadblocks expected in large business.
  • Effective and demonstrated skills influencing key partners and cross functional teams including ability to build trust-based relationships with senior executives of the company and work as a trusted advisor on key strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the overall health of the service and experience building tools to exercise and evaluate if these KPIs are being met.
  • Passion to coach and develop a high performing team with diverse background.
  • Effective project management skills with experience in multiple project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong initiative and dependability with focus on developing and executing results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively express ideas and views through public speaking, presentations, reports, and professional correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with all types of audiences.
  • Exceptional collaborator, influencer, and relationship builder- drives change through ideas, relationships, and actions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to adjust to changing conditions of the position.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, grow and manage high-performing teams.
  • Excellent judgment, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibits an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude toward change; shows flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity and varying company culture.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
