The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) is seeking a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant. EFT group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
The Senior Technology Business Services Consultant will translate strategy into execution across multiple EFT portfolios. You will lead day-to-day operating routines, mature our execution playbooks, and drive portfolio outcomes-spanning intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and stabilization. You'll orchestrate annual planning and in-year replanning cycles, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure executive-ready decisioning.
In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions and day-to-day operations across multiple business groups and contribute to large-scale strategic initiatives.
- Drive operating excellence by improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, including capacity and pipeline management for assigned workstreams.
- Research and assess moderately complex business, operational, and strategic topics; synthesize findings and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Work independently to make well-reasoned recommendations for support functions and programs, providing leadership with minimal direction.
- Plan and execute programs and initiatives that advance organization objectives (e.g., process simplification, AI adoption, and scalability).
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders to develop project plans, policies, procedures, and playbooks; standardize and document best practices.
- Provide support in relationship management and coordinate implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product, Technology CIO, Operations, Finance).
- Support oversight and execution of strategic priorities, including defining and tracking OKRs/KPIs, monitoring progress, and driving decisions and trade-offs.
- Ensure relevant enterprise policies and program requirements are understood and appropriately applied within teams; identify issues early and partner to resolve or escalate as needed.
- Maintain an integrated view of portfolio health, milestones, and dependencies; prepare executive-ready updates, roadmaps, and decision materials.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to proactively identify, prioritize, and address issues; enable decisions that balance customer, risk, and business outcomes.
- Provide guidance and informal leadership to less-experienced consultants, coach teams on execution discipline, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- 4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of demonstrated ability to lead support functions or operations across multiple business groups, aligning operating models, processes, and playbooks to business goals
- 3+ years of program/portfolio execution experience across intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and stabilization
- Deep understanding of the banking/financial services business, customer segments, and digital platforms/products; familiarity with market dynamics and competitor practices.
- Proven track record improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, including capacity and pipeline management (prioritization, resourcing, and throughput).
- Experience contributing to large-scale strategic initiatives, translating strategy into executable plans with clear outcomes and benefits.
- Ability to research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives, synthesize insights, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
- Skilled at defining and managing KPIs/OKRs, dashboards, and reporting to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
- Ability to operate independently with sound judgment; makes well-reasoned recommendations for support functions and workstreams with minimal direction.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; adept at navigating matrixed, virtual teams and facilitating decisions among diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; produces executive-ready materials (briefings, decision memos, roadmaps) and can present to senior forums.
- Confident meeting facilitation, structured storytelling, and change-adoption communications (training/enablement a plus).
- Advanced analytical ability to structure problems, interpret data, and recommend options/trade-offs; comfortable using tooling (e.g., Excel, Tableau/Power BI) to inform decisions.
- Able to identify issues early and drive constructive, credible challenge to achieve business outcomes.
- Highly motivated self-starter with organized work style; remains calm and effective in high-energy environments.
- Proven discretion with confidential information; strong integrity and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); advanced degree and/or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean Six Sigma) preferred.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$87,000.00 - $168,000.00
