Wells Fargo's Architecture and Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a transformational engineer influencing the next-generation solutions for Quality Engineering and DevOps. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, mission-critical, scalable solutions with best-in-class cloud technology and platforms that offer differentiated user experiences to all our engineering partners.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Work with product teams to deliver quality products through Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Inspection
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of full stack development experience in Java
- 4+ years of Angular development experience
- 2+ years experience developing API's
- 4+ years of experience with Agile practices
- 3+ years of experience with systems architecture design
- 2+ years experience with UX design and development
- 1+ years of experience with MongoDB
- 1+ years of experience Kafka
- Microservices development experience
- Experience with development and Test Frameworks, Capabilities & Tools
- Experience with one or more CI/CD capabilities Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Groovy, Artifactory, GIT, Sonarqube, Harness IO, Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Experience with one or more additional Platforms: Kubernetes, Grafana, Elastic/ELK, Kafka, Kibana, Splunk, Apigee
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Openshift Platform
