Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant - Release Delivery Lead - Workplace Collaboration

Wells Fargo is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Release Delivery Lead (RDL) to join our Workplace Technology team, supporting the Workplace Collaboration product. In this high-impact role, you'll be at the center of release planning and execution-ensuring that product releases are delivered smoothly, safely, and in alignment with enterprise standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery excellence, mitigate risks, and improve release health across the product lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex, high-impact initiatives to deliver technological solutions across cross-functional business and technology teams.
  • Manage end-to-end release lifecycle including preparation, deployment coordination, and post-release activities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and solutions for enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
  • Evaluate and solve highly complex business and technology problems using deep domain expertise.
  • Monitor Agile delivery metrics and proactively initiate structured course corrections.
  • Track release health indicators such as test readiness, defect rates, deployment success, and incidents.
  • Maintain and manage risk and dependency logs; escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure SDLC checkpoints, ECM approvals, and NFR validations are completed.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
  • Make informed decisions in multifaceted situations that influence enterprise-wide technology solutions.
  • Lead quarterly Big Room Planning events using standardized frameworks to align and coordinate delivery across teams.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Engineers to ensure delivery alignment.
  • Facilitate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
  • Host office hours, lead Communities of Practice, and support onboarding of new Release Delivery Leads.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship across all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide standardization and maturation of release delivery practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience in release management, agile delivery, or product operations
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery metrics
  • Proven ability to manage risks and dependencies in a complex environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with SDLC, ECM, and enterprise compliance standards
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with backlog health monitoring and delivery performance analysis
  • Experience in Workplace Technology or collaboration tools
  • Background in coaching or enablement within agile teams
  • Experience contributing to enterprise-wide standardization efforts
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
