Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to join the Alternative Investments Team with Wealth and Investments Management (WIM). Learn more about career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
- Lead strategic direction and execution of the expansion of the alternative investments platform and increasing the volume of services agreements to support recruiting efforts
- Provide oversight of agreements with external parties inclusive of leading negotiations from a business perspective with external investment managers
- Serve as an escalation point for business decisions related to manager agreements, product onboarding, platform maintenance and day-to-day platform management
- Lead product launches / closures and oversee product onboarding for other product managers
- This role is senior to other product manager positions and will serve as a SME on alternative investment product, process and strategy
- Work closely with internal and external partners to deliver on stated team goals including platform expansion
- 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
- In-depth knowledge of alternative investments including private equity, private debt, private real estate and hedge funds
- Ability to assess risks in agreements with 3rd parties and appropriately manage risks through consultation with legal personnel and other internal parties Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
- Ability to manage complex business processes associated with projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of advertising: branding, merchandising, and collateral development
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience developing and implementing project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
- Ability to negotiate agreements or contracts
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations including charts and graphs for investment clients
