Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to support our Auto space in Consumer Lending. This individual contributor will help modernize our Auto originations experience through agile product management, data-driven decision-making, and a focus on dealer and customer impact. In this role, you will:

  • Shape business vision and requirements, and lead product design and implementation to address complex business and technical needs.
  • Oversee overall product management and strategic focus for the most technical, complex, and diverse products and services within the Auto space
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth understanding of potential synergies, opportunities companywide
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused for diverse product lines
  • Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships
  • Drive product discovery, including customer insights through primary and secondary research, business analytics, competitive dynamics, technology trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop decision-making frameworks that foster productive debate and drive timely, informed outcomes
  • Formulate product positioning, and lead the articulation of product value propositions to customers and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and understood
  • Discover vision of customer experience in partnership with in-house or third-party design resources, including developing customer journey maps, prototypes, and UI/UX wireframes
  • Drive product strategy and develop initiative roadmaps for the products you own and manage
  • Develop and drive use of metrics and general guidelines and ensure usage. Track and report on performance metrics and key performance indicators, leading to success on the overarching objectives and key results
  • Interact directly with vendors and support the business in conducting build-vs-buy analysis
  • Manage operational implementation in partnership with change management, sales, and operations teams
  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, stakeholders, analysts, and multiple level managers
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide
  • Serve as an adept advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Auto Finance, preferably in underwriting or funding
  • Experience in analysis of credit bureau information
  • Prior experience in loan originations, ideally within the indirect auto lending space
  • Experience managing product backlogs, defining epics and features, and leading cross-functional discovery and delivery efforts
  • Experience working in Agile product management methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data/quantitative analysis, using data and prototyping to explore complex problems, evaluate solutions, and inform product decisions
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explore complex problems, evaluate multiple solutions, and drive toward optimal outcomes
  • Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis, profit and loss, and how product decisions impact business outcomes
  • Experience working with compliance, legal, risk, and executive leadership to align on product vision and ensure regulatory soundness
  • Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to lead end to end product strategy, vision, and framework to flawless execution
  • Lead product design and execution while also managing stakeholder relationships
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex, multi-dimensional data and business concepts into clear, actionable insights that drive collaboration, influence decisions, and support business objectives
  • Experience with microservice-based architecture, including microservices, domain-driven design, and micro front-end frameworks
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
