In this role, you will:

  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership for operational risk programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and advocate for innovative operational risk strategies, leveraging influence-based leadership to drive adoption.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor potential operational risks affecting business functions and processes.
  • Independently and constructively challenge existing risk management practices, offering alternative approaches and solutions.
  • Evaluate the long-term implications of strategic business decisions and recommend risk-informed alternatives to support sustainable growth.
  • Lead the execution of complex, high-risk initiatives that may span multiple business lines and functions.
  • Advise business leaders on corrective action plans and support effective change management efforts.
  • Drive business-wide risk management transformation by leading cross-functional and virtual teams.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, stakeholders, and senior leaders to resolve issues and align on strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of Consumer Lending Operations (Home Lending, Auto Lending, and/or Unsecured Lending)
  • Advanced level communication, relationship building, and influencing skills cross a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently within a matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to monitor risk exposures at the group, line of business and product levels.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, consistent attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $279,000.00
