About this role:
This position will design and implement a communication program for the leadership of Commercial Real Estate (CRE), one of the three divisions of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business at Wells Fargo. The individual contributor in this role will work closely with the CEO and COO of CRE to drive employee engagement, client engagement, and external recognition. The position will be located at 150 East 42nd Street in New York, NY and offers a hybrid work schedule. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Lead Communications Consultant.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and COO of Commercial Real Estate
- Develop a communications program to enable CRE leadership to better communicate at scale with a large and geographically dispersed workforce
- Seek out opportunities to communicate externally about CRE, including its value proposition, growth, individual deals, and themes across deals
- Maintain an "active reporter" mindset at all times: based on what's happening inside the business, develop story ideas and write content relevant to CRE's stakeholders, including employees, clients and the market
- Identify executive advocacy, external speaking and other engagement opportunities
- Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes
- Partner with communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging

- 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience developing executive communications strategies for a Commercial Real Estate, Investment Bank, Asset Management, Private Equity, or B2B financial services company
- Experience counseling executives on high profile issues and delivery of internal communications
- Experience designing executive thought leadership platforms
- Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
- Experience presenting information that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels
