About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to join Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) as part of the Strategy & Execution team. The Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) team within Independent Risk Management is the second line of defense as it relates to financial crimes. FCRM provides advice, review, and challenge to the front line as it relates to financial crimes risks and related matters

The Strategy & Execution team leads cross-organizational efforts and provides centralized support to FCRM Management. The team is responsible for Strategy, special initiatives, I&P execution, talent management, staffing adequacy, training, communication, and the overall administration of the FCRM function including developing strategies and overseeing plans to ensure adherence and compliance with policies, guidelines, and assessments.

In this role, you will:

  • As a part of the Strategy and Execution team supporting FCRM, the successful candidate will develop, implement, and track the FCRM strategic plan, ensuring appropriate alignment to financial, strategic, and risk management objectives.
  • Coordinate and execute the full lifecycle of workforce management in US & India, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, professional development initiatives, etc.
  • Function as primary liaison between FCRM and key enterprise including Finance, Recruiting, Human Resources, Risk Bolt, Corporate Properties Group, etc.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between FCRM US and India Partners.
  • Track and reconcile monthly headcount resources from a budgeting perspective.
  • Coordinate with Finance to update monthly headcount projections and budget impacts.
  • Function as resource for policy adherence, particularly related to T&E and other operating policies.
Drive execution of large scale, cross organizational strategic initiatives. This includes
  • Coordinate the execution of assigned activities in US strategic office locations.
  • Partner with OC+1, OC+2 and OC+3 leaders to execute key business strategies and support outstanding team member experience via support of employee engagement efforts, as needed.
  • Prepare analysis, reporting and presentations that support strategic initiatives, as needed.
  • Other special projects that contribute to the effective ongoing management of the FCRM team.
  • Recommend solutions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of FCRM's functional area or products.
  • Facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of project management experience within a Chief Operating Office (COO) role.
  • 7+ years of experience in workforce management or talent management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and reporting on project financials.
  • Experience in budget, resource planning, process, data, and technology strategy, capability benefit analysis, and investment business case development.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track-record for delivering results.
  • Ability to recognize and meet the needs of business teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional business partners and teams to build and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently but seek direction when appropriate.
