About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic thinking, creative problem solving and experienced Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to join the CIB Finance - Data Insights & Analytics - Transformation Team. This role has high visibility across global senior stakeholders within CIB and CB. The role will be responsible for the execution and delivery of key client, banker, and line of business strategy reporting and automation routines. The role will blend consultative design, hands on delivery, and presentations to executive stakeholders. You will be vital in supporting the modernization of the technical stack, as this plays a critical role in future reporting capabilities. The role will be supported by a global team with diverse skillsets. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation, business intelligence, and cloud migration experience. Prior financial services experience is not required though having a strong understanding of commercial, corporate, and investment banking business products and delivery is a plus.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategy, development and delivery of key clients, banker, and line of business reporting and automation routines
  • Technically support in cloud migration efforts and advise on best practices to ensure future reporting capabilities are considered during design and development
  • Partner with technology teams to convert solutions into strategic production deployed assets
  • Creatively problem-solve, identify and deploy automation routines that reduce risk and improve efficiency
  • Mentor, coach, and support junior staff in the learning process of the business, technology and data
  • Develop and present concise executive presentations
  • Need to have a genuine sense of curiosity about data, creative problem solving, and the future of reporting using agents and chatbots
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Management Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong delivery background in data analysis, reporting and cloud migration
  • Experience developing materials and presenting to senior leadership
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (or other) for building dashboards and visual reports.
  • Strong critical thinking and change management skills.
  • Strong understanding of data profiling and data quality.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience working with global delivery teams across time zones and cultures.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a data-driven profitability metrics focused environment.
  • Experience in Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to take ownership of complex problems and drive them to resolution.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and evolving business needs.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on financial, regulatory, and technology trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse teams.
