About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst within Branch Banking Finance supporting the Regional Bank Director level within the Branch Banking network. This role is part of broader Region Finance Support team that provides trusted advice and strategic guidance to Regional Bank Executives, Directors and peer support groups.
In this role, you will:
- Pro-actively partner with Regional Bank Directors to drive business growth by connecting activities to financial outcomes with the identification of risk/opportunity and best-in-class practices that can be leveraged across the Region
- Provide Branch P&L support/learnings across the region. Implement discipline around monthly Branch P&L analysis across the regions in order to develop skill, understanding of results and the ability to connect to leading indicators and behaviors
- Lead implementation of Staffing Model targets, ongoing monitoring and activities to achieve in partnership with Recruiting & HR. Partner with Workforce Optimization to streamline processes, understand assumptions and actively participate in future development
- Provide broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standards such as partnering with Regional Bank Directors to prepare for Business Unit Reviews and implement expense management strategies and analysis
- Lead or participate in moderately complex Branch initiatives such as workforce transformation, distribution and ATM strategies, and Branch space redesign as part of a technical professional in the field
- Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning including considerations for branch distribution and branch hour changes
- Research key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting, GL research, org structure integrity, and other FP&A support.
- Contribute to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making for a business unit
- Lead team to meet the implementation of complex projects impacting one or more lines of business through collaboration with Human Resources, the Business Development Office, Affluent and Small Business Segments, region leadership, peers and other colleagues
- Attend region leadership meetings and calls as appropriate and present financial results tied to key metric activities
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Economics
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization
- Self-starter with exceptional critical thinking skills combined with a strategic business focus
- Ability to interpret bank financial statements fluently
- Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL, Dimensional (Essbase) or similar querying methods
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results
- Knowledge and understanding of retail banking industry
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
