Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., ENT Technology Group is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to analyze business requirements; Design and write technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions using ASP.Net, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and Angular JS); Develop original and complex code and provide guidance to less experienced staff; Perform modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts; Verify program logic through preparation of test data and testing and debugging of programs; Participate in overall systems testing; Application migration to production; Develop new documentations, participate in the development of department technical procedures and design user guides; Act as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting; Provide guidance to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and complex production, application, or system problems; Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area; Update and test business continuation plan; Develop and support .Net web applications, databases, ETL, and reporting; Work closely with Business Systems Consultants and Lines of Business to plan enhancements to applications and processes; and Follow Software Development Lifecycle practices and procedures including Requirements Reviews, Functional System Design Documentation, and Peer Reviews. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems or related technical field. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year bachelor's degree. Plus 4 years of data engineering experience.

Position requires the following:

  • 4 years of ASP.Net and C#;
  • 4 years of experience with SQL Server database design and administration;
  • 4 years of web development experience;
  • 4 years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI, or Angular JS);
  • 3 years of SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS experience;
  • 3 years of Telerik Controls experience;
  • 2 years of SharePoint experience;
  • 2 years of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experience;
  • 2 years of Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience;
  • 2 years of Microservices Architecture Development; and
  • 2 years of experience with MS Azure cloud or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) computing technology.
