Senior Content Designer/UX Writer - Artificial Intelligence

About this role:

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to write for Fargo, our AI-powered virtual assistant. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative team of UX designers, you'll craft high-quality content that makes complex financial topics easy to understand. This role demands a healthy balance of flawless writing, strategic UX thinking, and passion for detail.

In this role, you will:

  • Write useful and friendly conversational responses for a wide variety of financial topics and tasks
  • Maintain detailed copy specifications (Excel) that serve as a source of truth for legal, translation, accessibility, and development partners
  • Actively collaborate with other writers: peer review/editing, workshopping, evolving our style guide
  • Collaborate with partners to analyze utterances (natural language processing) and craft experiences for normal, exception, and edge cases
  • Stay engaged to ensure designs are implemented correctly; help resolve issues and drive continuous improvement

  • 4+ years as a digital content designer or similar experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing content and methods in successful digital projects
Qualities for success in this role:
  • Clear, concise writing; flawless grammar, free of jargon
  • Experience writing for complex UX flows for financial services or similar
  • Creativity and a deep understanding of design principles, user experience, and storytelling
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively convey ideas and inspire support
  • Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Confluence and Jira; Excel or similar to deliver detailed copy specifications
  • Solid project management habits; ability to self-start, pivot quickly, balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical mindset; experience leveraging data to drive content choices and improvements
  • Fluency in content and conversation design trends, content strategy, and Design Thinking methods
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position will not be a telecommute position, must be willing to work out of New York, NY, or Charlotte, NC 3 days a week
Pay Range - New York, NY: $100,800 - $179,200
