Senior Consultant, People Analytics (Senior Analytics Consultant)
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant, People Analytics (Senior Analytics Consultant) to join the People Analytics Strategic Consulting team. This is a technical role where you leverage advanced statistical techniques and analytical tools to deliver impactful analyses and meaningful insights and impact for Human Resources (HR) leadership through analytical engagements. You will thrive if you are a proven data wrangler and effective problem solver well-versed in business analytics and data science best practices. In this role, you will begin to develop your consulting skills by working with HR clients to understand, structure, and scope the business problem or question, lead the design of a well thought out yet practical analytical plan, and leverage advanced statistical techniques and analytical tools to deliver meaningful and actionable insights and impact presented in an intuitive, compelling, and easy-to-understand way.
In this role you will:
- Navigate multiple data sources and leverage statistical software and reporting tools and products to perform analyses and deliver insights.
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data-driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements.
- Consult with leaders across HR and the business, and review and research moderately complex talent, business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth analysis and/or evaluation leveraging a wide array of possible data factors.
- Strategize, plan and lead on analytics deliverables that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk as part of a geographically distributed team.
- Generate hypotheses and employ a wide array of statistical methodologies to test hypotheses using both structured and unstructured data.
- Translate complex analyses and technical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand business terms.
- Guide and consult leaders on advanced analyses that cross multiple HR domains
- Follow designated controls and processes to ensure adherence to relevant risk management, legal and compliance expectations, and requirements.
- Work across multiple efforts in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and competing priorities.
- Coach less technical staff to help build technical proficiency and create efficiencies through the development of repeatable, well-documented code.

- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of experience leveraging a statistical programming language (e.g., SQL, R [Posit], Python) to conduct analyses.
- 3+ years of experience designing, scoping, conducting, and interpreting complex statistical analyses (e.g., regression, cluster analysis, ANOVA)
- Relevant working experience or advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc, PhD) in related field (e.g., Business Analytics, I/O Psychology, Economics, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience influencing executives and/or their strategy by synthesizing analyses into actionable insights and impactful presentations.
- 3+ years of experience in both influencing and leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) products and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) for analysis, insight generation and consulting engagements.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
