Senior Analytics Consultant
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant within Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) to support the Banker Connection team. Banker Connection is an internal Wells Fargo contact center, supporting branch banking employees with consumer banking related inquiries. This role will assist with various business initiatives, including partnering with Wells Fargo groups both within and outside of Banker Connection.

In this role, you will:
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to design, develop, and optimize complex queries using DAX, SQL, and MDX to support robust data modeling and analytics
- Ability to build and maintain scalable data solutions across various business intelligence platforms to meet evolving business needs
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into efficient, actionable data strategies
- Demonstrated high standards of data accuracy, performance, and scalability in all reporting and analytics solutions
- Demonstrated experience supporting consumer/retail and/or small business banking products and services, with a strong understanding of customer needs, cross functional enterprise navigation, regulatory considerations, and operational processes.
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques
- Ability to operate in an environment where roles and responsibilities are evolving rapidly
- Ability to work with multiple priorities and strict timelines
- Effectively consults and analyzes expectations and needs to ensure solution(s) will meet business goals
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple Lines of Business including Technology partners
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in both PowerPoint and Excel, experience with broader Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong influencing experience, specifically negotiation and relationship management skills
- Superior relationship, communication and collaboration experience with teams, peers and partners at senior levels
