Risk Analytics Director - Strategies QA, Transformation & Enablement, Consumer Lending Risk
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking two Risk Analytics Directors to lead the transformation & management of the strategy enablement, testing and monitoring of consumer lending credit strategies within the Consumer Lending CRO Risk Analytics, Delivery & Oversight group. Manage implementation of production strategy rules, integration of production data, data validation, unit testing, delivery and quality assurance (QA), and testing of production strategy rules implementation. Champion transformation and change the bank initiatives across strategy implementation, production testing and strategy monitoring functions for CL CRO.

In this role, you will:
- Manage team to transform current QA and enablement processes, including migration from legacy decision engine systems to target decision engine platforms
- Lead QA, enablement and execution processes to drive on time delivery of consumer lending credit strategies to production, including quality assurance activities
- Design & manage implementation of production strategy rules, integration of production data, data validation, unit testing, delivery and QA
- Deliver transformative solutions that are modular and reusable, and scale across consumer products
- Embed AI solutions into transformation efforts
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions for highly complex projects
- Coordinate highly complex matrixed activities across technology, CRO, and front line areas
- Document enablement, execution and QA processes
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Interact with internal and external customers operating in a hub and spoke framework
- Collaborate with LOBs for oversight of risk management
- Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics

In this role, you will:
- Manage team to transform current strategy end-to-end testing processes, including migration from legacy decision engine systems to target decision engine platforms
- Design and manage expansion of testing criteria and functions to include testing of production strategy rules implementation, integration of production data, and strategy rules execution
- Lead strategy production testing processes to drive on time delivery of consumer lending credit strategies to production, including quality assurance activities
- Provide vision and set direction to design and deploy strategy monitoring processes, including framework design, data visualization, data sourcing, deployment, execution, controls and documentation
- Deliver transformative solutions that are modular and reusable, and scale across consumer products
- Embed AI solutions into transformation efforts
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions for highly complex projects
- Coordinate highly complex matrixed activities across technology, CRO, and front line areas
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Interact with internal and external customers operating in a hub and spoke framework
- Collaborate with LOBs for oversight of risk management
- Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics
- 8+ years of financial services or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in consumer; consumer data and software experience strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience managing teams/projects
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Master's degree preferred in a STEM related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and lead teams through technical challenges
- Experience managing distributed teams across geographies, including both onshore and offshore
- Software development experience with a pragmatic perspective, including best practices and standards
- Experience with consumer data, implementation, execution processes
- Experience with decision engine platforms
- Credit risk experience across the credit life cycle (new originations, account management, collections/loss mitigation)
- Proven ability to influence and lead in a highly matrixed environment
- Proven ability to credibly challenge leadership and influence decision-making
- Provide guidance through mentoring, training, and development
- Expertise in leading transformation initiatives and delivering results
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Experience with process improvement, and measurements
- Strong analytical skills, including data management. Able to perform analysis and deliver to management calling out risk or opportunities
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences
