About this role:

We are seeking a Product Manager, GenAI to join the Conduct Analytics and Reporting team in Wells Fargo's Governance and Workforce Relations (GWR) organization. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with GWR business leaders across the company to tackle compliance needs and develop AI products leveraging custom, open-source, and proprietary AI models. In this role, you will be working with CAR leaders to plan the roadmap and manage the development of custom AI products.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise, influence, and support leadership on customer discovery, product planning, business requirements gathering, product design, development, and implementation of AI solutions for GWR business needs.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the GWR organization to identify potential AI opportunities, lead product planning, and solve unique challenges.
  • Deliver solutions with consideration of industry dynamics, compliance, regulatory impact, and risk management.
  • Develop and monitor product roadmap and key performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Ensure cross-functional dependencies and business readiness needs are articulated, managed, and addressed to successfully execute work with quality and on-time.
  • Provide direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative AI-driven business solutions that are strategically focused.
  • Define the team's product roadmap, set priorities, establish goals, and guide teams in designing, developing, and delivering solutions for GWR.
  • Manage processes and routines needed to ensure that the product predictably delivers value, adjust planning in situations that may include financial, control, or process roadblocks.
  • Inspect pre-release progress, recommend changes, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to executives on complex, visible, and diverse solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of AI product experience, including a strong understanding of AI concepts as applied to enterprise workflows and decision-making
  • Proven experience leading AI-driven initiatives in the financial or HR domain
  • Experience applying AI tools for prediction, optimization, classification, or sentiment analysis to drive insights and decision-making
  • Experience consulting, implementing, and owning AI products and tools
  • Experience leading scrum teams in an Agile environment and strong Agile knowledge.
  • Experience influencing and managing cross-functional work streams to execute initiatives with quality and on-time.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including data science, engineering, and business partners to deliver AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops and discussions to effectively gather requirements and achieve a detailed understanding of client objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations and data privacy regulations related to AI (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable product strategies and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with senior executives/leaders.
  • Ability to leverage leadership acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is posted in West Des Moines, IA and uptown Charlotte, NC.
