Product Intake & Prioritization Lead

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to oversee the intake process for the Payments Change Delivery Team within Payments Operations. This role offers high visibility across Payments Operations, Global Payments and Liquidity, and other lines of business, supporting the implementation of strategic payments platform technologies, industry standards, and key programs driven by the Payments Change Delivery Team.

In this role, you will:

  • Accurately interpret and validate technical sizing estimates provided by engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with product architects, applying architectural design principles to guide scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Align incoming requests with available funding and strategic product roadmaps, ensuring resource optimization and business value.
  • Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, documenting impact assessments to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance agile maturity and operational efficiency across teams.
  • Manage stakeholders with clarity and influence, even in the absence of direct authority, to drive consensus and action.
  • Create clear, concise documentation and presentations that articulate both technical and business impacts to diverse audiences.
  • Facilitate alignment across product, engineering, and business teams to ensure shared understanding and coordinated execution.
  • Apply a strong analytical mindset to uncover bottlenecks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Navigate ambiguous environments with confidence, using structured problem-solving to drive clarity and direction.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with product management, business execution or technical program management
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a scaled agile environment
  • Previous experience utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence or equivalent platforms to manage intake, prioritization, and workflow tracking
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies to support iterative delivery and continuous improvement
  • Product management certification
