Product Development Senior Manager- Credit Card Apply & Onboarding
The Credit Card Apply & Onboarding Product Development Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality products in fast-paced, iterative cycles. The candidate will be responsible for a significant share of the originations journey including Apply, Decision and Onboarding across multiple Credit Card business verticals and customer channels. This position demands a blend of product acumen, people management skills, and a deep understanding of agile principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee development and execution of Apply and Onboarding epics and features working in partnership with stakeholders including business, risk, digital, testing, legal and compliance.
- Recruit, mentor, and nurture a high-performing agile Apply & Onboarding product development team.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and professional development planning.
- Identify and address skill gaps within the team, including identification of appropriate training or coaching.
- Oversee agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams in adopting best practices for continuous delivery and improvement.
- Remove impediments and resolve conflicts that hinder team progress, escalate promptly as necessary.
- Collaborate with product owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring inputs are clear, actionable, and aligned with business strategy.
- Oversee the execution of product development from ideation to testing, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards upheld.
- Champion customer-centric thinking, encouraging teams to seek feedback, iterate rapidly, and deliver meaningful value.
- Work with Product Development leader to manage resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to align expectations and goals.
- Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on team achievements, challenges, and areas for growth.
- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of transparency where challenges are surfaced and addressed quickly.
- Lead root-cause analysis sessions to learn from setbacks and prevent recurrence
- Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics.
- Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer

- 6+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field
- Experience in product development, software engineering, or related roles
- Demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate, coach, and resolve conflict within teams.
- Proven track record of delivering complex products on time and within budget.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product management principles.
- Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions
- Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels
- Exceptional problem solving abilities
- Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results
- Advanced degree preferred
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $279,000.00
