Payments Product Management Director
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Management Director to lead the Product Transformation Enablement & Execution Team, to define product outcomes and strategy, driving towards the end-state vision. Our Global Payments & Liquidity, Product & Platform organization is dedicated to expanding core payments products and enhancing pricing discipline for deposits and fees with existing clients. We are investing in modernizing our payments platforms & architecture to build robust payment ecosystems.
This role involves leading the Product Transformation Enablement & Execution Team, driving strategic execution across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful omni-channel experiences and measurable business outcomes. It involves aligning transformation goals with delivery milestones, managing key business and customer metrics, and overseeing governance, risk, and controls. Additionally, this role advises experienced leadership on resolving complex execution challenges and directing product design and implementation for complex business, operations and technical needs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive the strategic execution and enablement of platform transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery excellence by proactively identifying and resolving cross-team dependencies and risks.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on business execution, performance optimization, and initiative alignment. Develop and deliver impactful presentations and insights to key stakeholders and executive audiences.
- Collaborate with program managers and execution leads to align transformation objectives with delivery milestones, ensuring cohesive and timely execution.
- Design and implement program enablement frameworks, including governance structures, performance metrics, and stakeholder engagement strategies to support scalable transformation.
- Champion change management and communication strategies to drive successful adoption and cultural alignment across the organization.
- Provide strategic oversight to ensure programs are delivered within scope, on time, and aligned with business objectives and long-term value creation.
- Foster strong partnerships across technology, operations, and product to enable integrated and sustainable transformation outcomes.
- Lead the resolution of complex, high-impact business execution challenges, leveraging deep analytical expertise and business acumen to deliver innovative, long-term solutions.

- 8+ years of Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- ISO 20022 Transformation and Global Payments Innovation (gpi)
- SWIFT Wires product management within banking or financial services
- Payment transformation & messaging experience (ACH, FedNow, MT-to-MX, SWIFT, CHIPS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in PowerPoint and storytelling.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in synthesizing and simplifying complex information from diverse stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to think end-to-end, take initiative, and independently track and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of advising and influencing senior leadership horizontally
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule at the posted location(s)
- Ability to travel 10%

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
