The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) is seeking a Lead Systems Operations Engineer. EFT group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
Wells Fargo's EFT group is seeking a skilled Messaging Lead Systems Operations Engineer professional. This highly experienced Messaging Lead Systems Operations Engineer will be joining a complex Messaging Platform Operations 24x7x365 Production support team.

In this role, you will:
- Provide operational support and incident resolution for all Wells Fargo Messaging services.
- Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to enterprise collaboration systems and infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and user experience
- Analyze technical queries and service requests, extract relevant data, and create reports or dashboards to support decision-making
- Recommend solutions for recurring technical issues and contribute to root cause analysis efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and security standards
- Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge base articles for internal use
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 5+ years senior Messaging/SMTP experience in a large corporate environment with 10,000 plus employees.
- 2+ years senior Proofpoint experience with some or all Proofpoint On Demand, Proofpoint Protection Systems, Proofpoint Secure Email Relay, Proofpoint Cloudmark, Proofpoint Sentrions
- 2+ years senior Exchange Online, Exchange 2019 on-prem/hybrid and Microsoft Defender.
- Good understanding of Active Directory/Azure, Load Balancers, Windows Server 2019, DNS, proxy, firewalls.
- Experience with Agile/Jira, Service Now, Enterprise Monitoring / Observability tools, Splunk queries and reporting
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Financial Institution experience as well as Regulatory, Audit and Control work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- RightFax Connect Hybrid experience a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with technology supported
- Hybrid work scheduled - In Office 3 days/week required.
- Availability for on-call support and off-hours maintenance as needed

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
