Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Irving, TX.

Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be responsible for leading the development and support of business process automation built with Blueprism and UIPath 2019.x. The Software Engineer will be part of development team in a customer {internally} facing role, to drive delivery of new automated processes as well as managing the changes required for the automations for our Wells Fargo Technology team. In this role, you will lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for production issues raise by either end user/automated monitors. Work with developers and application owners to implement the change and document it. An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error. Methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches with well documented, supportable and extensible development practices. Conceptualize automated solutions and understand the prescribed design architecture. Contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field. Position requires five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering and implementation experience.

Specific skills required:

  • 2 years of experience delivering complex enterprise-wide information technology solutions
  • 3 years of automation experience
  • 3 years of Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience
  • 3 years of UiPath development experience
  • 3 years of process and solution design
  • 2 years of direct user requirements gathering and refinement
Salary: $143,666 - $187,000
