About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager - Vendor Management to join the Independent Solutions team supporting the FiNet and First Clearing lines of business. The new hire will focus on the onboarding and support of third-party applications which will offer optionality for Financial Advisors within the FiNet/First Clearing line of business. This role is highly necessary, with a strategic focus on third-party applications that enhance the digital experience and capabilities for advisors in the Independent Solutions channels.

The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven product leader with deep experience in vendor management, product lifecycle execution, and digital platform strategy. This role requires strategic engagement across multiple business units and enterprise functions. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader, capable of navigating complex vendor ecosystems and delivering high-impact solutions that enhance the advisor experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on onboarding and supporting third-party applications for FiNet and First Clearing advisors.
  • Act as a relationship manager for vendors, guiding them through the full lifecycle-from onboarding and integration to ongoing support and optimization.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps, including forecasting, prioritization, and delivery of enhancements aligned with advisor needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate vendor offerings and ensure competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate across WIM and Enterprise teams, including FiNet business leadership, technology, compliance, and operations.
  • Deliver initiative updates and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Oversee risk management and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the vendor engagement process.
  • Utilize Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage product backlogs, track progress, and support delivery teams.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing third-party vendor relationships and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of brokerage operations and advisor platforms.
  • Experience supporting independent advisor channels (FiNet, First Clearing, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Ability to develop and execute product roadmaps and forecasting strategies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and risk considerations in financial services.
