Lead Business Relationship Support Specialist - Industrials
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced relationship support professional to join the Corporate and Investment Banking, Industrials & Renewables Energy Group. This individual will assist with managing and maintaining a high value service portfolio for both Industrials and Renewables Energy. This will include roles and responsibilities that support and manage client onboardings, periodic reviews, cashier's checks, fees, overdraft limits, wire/ACH queue monitoring and Treasury Management Service Acknowledgement and Change actions. There will be targeted coaching and mentoring of junior talent and the expectation to join high-impact, cross-group initiatives.

In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives or large portfolio of customers and share leadership role with relationship managers to oversee a portfolio of accounts
- Assist with components of audit or compliance reviews and exams
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the portfolio
- Maintain policy manuals and business continuity plan documentation
- Handle complex customer issues including escalation and resolution
- Review the decision process for customer accounts and evaluate the profitability and risk of designated portfolio
- Verify compliance and report identified issues for resolution
- Partner with managers to resolve issues and provide status updates on implementations
- Develop and share expertise in policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Lead team and serve as a subject matter expert for the department
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, internal partners and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- 5+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to effectively manage time and multi-task on concurrent projects while leading in a team environment across all organizational levels while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Skilled in customer-facing communication in a deadline driven, regulatory environment
- Solid critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience with Hogan, WCIS (Wholesale Customer Information System), WCAO (Wholesale Customer Account Onboarding), RCS (Risk Control System), and TRE (Transaction Risk Exposure)
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), including the ability to cut/copy/paste, filter/sort data, create/manage pivot tables, format documents/spreadsheets, and schedule meetings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using search tools to research data
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Knowledge of the Industrials and Renewables Energy segments
