Lead Business Execution Consultant - Reg O

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Reg O Team focused on operational functions. This role is critical in ensuring the organization's adherence to Federal Reserve Regulation O, which governs extensions of credit to insiders.
In this role, you will:
- Drive business initiatives related to insider credit extensions, including risk assessments, control execution, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Compliance, BACO, Legal, and Financial Controllers to obtain guidance on Reg O applicability and to assist in necessary reporting and regulatory filing.
- Lead the execution and enhancement of the Reg O operations and process, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal policies.
- Work with Business Line leaders, Risk, and Audit to ensure consistent application of Reg O requirements across the enterprise.
- Provide credible challenge to front line Reg O credit submissions and quarterly inputs, and ensure stakeholders follow the user guides.
- Assist in performing quarterly RC-M filing and annual Insider survey; recommend and implement enhancements.
- Perform secondary reviews to various Reg O processes.
- Maintain Reg O related job aids, user guides, and control procedures, and enhance those as needed.
- Oversee the development and delivery of Reg O reporting, dashboards, and metrics to senior leadership and regulators.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Understanding and prior experience with the Federal Reserve Regulation O and Insider lending practices.
- Working with Compliance, BACO and legal teams on Regulation applicability and interpretation.
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction; superior ability to exercise independent judgement and prudent risk mitigation principles.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to clearly and concisely communicate (both written and verbal) with business partners, peers, senior management and lead discussions.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
