About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Communications Consultant reporting to the head of Business Communications for Global Operations. This position offers an opportunity to shape, elevate, and execute internal communication strategies for our data, analytics, reporting, and artificial intelligence (AI) teams. You will play a pivotal part in fostering engagement and clarity across the Global Operations organization, working closely with leadership and cross-functional partners.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement, and continually refine robust communication strategies that amplify understanding and engagement around the organization's data and AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and technical experts to ensure communications align with both technical goals and business objectives.
- Produce compelling, high-impact content in various formats-including written, visual, and multimedia assets such as executive presentations, digital media, and video stories.
- Translate complex data and AI projects into clear, meaningful narratives for stakeholders, clients, and partners, articulating tangible business value.
- Drive the evolution of digital communication channels, including web design, analytics, and digital storytelling. Leverage platforms such as websites, intranets, and social media to maximize audience engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and marketing teams-facilitating collaborative sessions to extract insights, align messaging, and maintain consistency across all communications.
- Ensure all content undergoes appropriate review and approval processes prior to publication.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to brand, editorial, compliance, privacy, and web standards in all creative assets.

- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in Communications
- Advanced proficiency with industry-standard digital design tools and web production techniques (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Figma).
- Expertise in applying editorial style guidelines across a variety of business communications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and support integrated communication strategies within large-scale organizations.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience translating strategic objectives into actionable and measurable communication plans.
- Advanced photo and video editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing effective digital content.
- Successful track record of working within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site design, permissions management, and enterprise platform integration.
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work on site in a hybrid role.
