The Lead Business Accountability Specialist will support a newly established cross-functional team spanning all lines of business to facilitate Enterprise Financial Crimes exits. These specialists will collaborate with technology partners to define requirements for a scalable, enterprise-wide systematic exit tool. They will be responsible for designing and implementing processes, procedures, and controls to support daily operations. Additionally, they will contribute to confidential initiatives involving high-level reporting, data collection, and the production of complex presentations. The role also involves cross-line collaboration to resolve escalated customer exits, conduct root cause analyses, and develop effective resolution strategies.
Additionally, they will develop and oversee the program documentation and procedures/job aids to ensure execution and coverage is being adhered to and the program is continually evolving. They will partner closely with our analytics team to help provide and improve qualitative analysis on various customer trends, risk and metrics. This person would also be involved in other core responsibilities within team including large scale projects and initiatives and be able to lead these processes, providing support to the team/management as needed.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
- Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
- May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Certifications & Domain Expertise
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- 5+ years of experience in BSA/AML
- Deep knowledge of Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM)
- Experience in Wealth Investment Management (WIM)
- RCSA and issue management expertise
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance policies, and procedures
- Experience with customer remediation and enterprise risk tools
- Skilled in project management across varying scopes and complexities
- Proven leadership in geographically dispersed team environments
- Ability to influence effectively in a matrixed organization
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience leading large-scale initiatives and driving results

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
