In this role, you will:
- Deliver higher quality data quality enhancement solutions
- Advise line of business and companywide functions on data quality strategies based on research of performance metrics and other complex data analysis to drive data quality improvements across the data ecosystem
- Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data
- Work with data partners to develop requirements and/or deliver solutions.
- Conduct SQL code development to satisfy requirements.
- Lead initiatives across multiple lines of business to create consistency while gaining approval and support of senior leadership.
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies within requirements and work toward an effective solution.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Influence, guide, and lead less experienced staff within the group
- 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Cornerstone, CIMADS, CIDD, BO Repository
- Ability to script simple queries using SQL for data research, ad-hoc reporting
- Working knowledge of reporting solutions and ability to develop dashboards leveraging Power BI
- Advanced with presenting data to tell a meaningful story that translates to diverse audience segments with varying levels of senior leadership within the BSA/AML Data organization
- Experience working in a banking environment or highly regulated industries
- Basic understanding of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Know your Customer (KYC), and Anti-money laundering (AML)
- Strong presentation and delivery skills with advanced knowledge using applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed and complex environment, creating strong professional partnerships
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements
