Institutional FX Sales Program Analyst

About this role:
Wells Fargo's Corporate and Investment Bank is hiring for an Analyst position on the Institutional FX Sales Team. The role is focused on the marketing and execution of foreign exchange products to institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, insurance, pension, banks). The position is client-facing and core responsibilities include relationship management, macro trade idea generation, pricing and booking of trades, providing market commentary to clients, and regular interaction with operations groups.
The candidate should have a technical understanding of basic foreign exchange products (FX forwards, swaps, options) and join with a willingness to expand their knowledge to additional macro products in the future. FX Sales team members partner closely with their counterparts in Rates as well as with other partners in Markets (equities, commodities, etc). Potential team members should be focused on building strong customer relationships, while also fostering a strong risk and compliance-driven culture.
In this role, you will:
- Gain a deep understanding of macro products, markets, systems, and trade execution
- Deliver outstanding trade execution and client experience that drives efficiencies and helps the Institutional team to achieve financial goals
- Partner effectively with FX & Rates Sales & Trading, Operations, Onboarding, etc. to resolve issues and deliver superior customer service
- Collaborate with other line of business partners across CIB to better deliver the franchise to our top clients
- Ensure compliance with all Dodd-Frank and other regulatory rules and help guide team to improve process to meet market practices as they develop
- 6+ months of Markets experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong interest in financial markets, foreign currencies and derivatives
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines
- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic, initiative and desire to learn
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience developing presentation and spreadsheet materials
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively internally and externally
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
- Base pay range for this position is $110,000-$115,000
- May be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$90,000.00 - $150,000.00
