About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead GenAI Digital Product Manager in the COO AI CoE team within the Chief Operating Office. This pivotal role will define and drive product strategy for scalable AI agents that automate complex workflows (e.g., document intelligence, case summarization, email triage), ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, this role will lead the end-to-end delivery of GenAI-powered agentic solutions, including architecture design, development, testing, and deployment, using tools such as Google ADK, LangChain, and LangGraph. Finally, this person will play a key role in staying ahead of emerging technologies in the GenAI ecosystem and proactively identify opportunities to integrate new capabilities into enterprise platforms for enhanced automation and intelligence.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, operations, and compliance teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver high-impact solutions and strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
  • Establish governance and performance metrics for GenAI agents, including accuracy, latency, explainability, and human-in-the-loop oversight, ensuring continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies in the GenAI ecosystem and proactively identify opportunities to integrate new capabilities into enterprise platforms for enhanced automation and intelligence.
  • Advise Senior Leadership: Act as an expert advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others, providing vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale technology transformation or automation programs, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI and agentic AI solutions.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Google AI Developer Kit (ADK), LangChain, and LangGraph, with a track record of delivering production-grade AI agents that integrate reasoning, memory, and tool orchestration.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver multi-agent architectures, leveraging LLMs for dynamic task execution, workflow automation, and human-in-the-loop governance.
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector database integration (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
  • Experience building and scaling GenAI solutions for use cases such as document intelligence, email triage, case summarization, or workflow automation in regulated environments.
  • Ability to provide strategic vision and technical direction to senior leadership for implementing innovative, cross-organizational solutions (e.g., Case Management, AI Ops, Intelligent Automation).
  • Familiarity with Operations business processes in large-scale financial institutions, including exposure to compliance, QA, data integrity, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior executives and cross-functional teams.
