Global Incident Command Center - Lead Business Execution Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to serve within the Global Incident Command Center (GICC), part of Wells Fargo's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) function under Enterprise Business Resiliency (EBR).

The GICC is a core component of EBR's Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) team. Its mission is to provide global, enterprise-wide, all-hazard monitoring, analysis, coordination, and communication for incidents that negatively impact Wells Fargo's business groups and enterprise functions. The GICC operates a 24/7/365 detection and response model, coordinating across three strategically located centers in Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ; and Bangalore, India.

Wells Fargo's "all-hazards" incident management model ensures that incidents are managed through a coordinated, enterprise-wide assessment and response process. EIM responds to and manages a broad variety of disruptive events-regardless of their origin, scope, or risk domain (e.g., financial, operational, reputational, technological, cyber, or natural disaster).

GICC team members are exposed to a wide range of complex and time-sensitive issues. Success in this role requires sound judgment, analytical rigor, a propensity to deep-dive into issues, and the ability to execute predefined response processes in a time-constrained and high-pressure environment. Team members must be comfortable interacting with senior leaders and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as an expert within the GICC regarding the analysis of business associated risk, execution of the incident management process and application of the risk taxonomy
  • Provide risk related insights concerning highly complex issues
  • Lead initiatives to uplift processes and procedures within the GICC
  • Monitor internal and external data sources for emerging threats
  • Coordinate with lines of business to assess and respond to incidents
  • Activate the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) structure when necessary
  • Draft and promulgate event notifications and incident updates.
  • Engage with executive stakeholders to gather critical information.
  • Support post-incident reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to develop project plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster cross lines of business partnerships in support of incident response process.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Education in and/or experience with concepts of incident management and risk intelligence
  • Understanding of resiliency, emergency management, and incident response
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Effectively work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience with Strategic Projects
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS or other geospatial mapping tools
  • Familiarity with Everbridge Mass Notification or other notification tools
Job Expectations:
  • This position will require on-call, weekends, and holiday work as needed
  • The ability to respond to emergent issues during non-business hours
  • Business hours for this position are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm but may be adjusted based on business needs.
