Financial Market Infrastructure Network Manager
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) Network Manager to join the Network Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing due diligence of a diverse cross-regional portfolio of Payment Systems, Securities Settlement Systems, and Central Counterparties (collectively "FMIs"). You will perform due diligence and oversight on direct FMI memberships, identifying and reporting key risks to Wells Fargo leaders and other key cross-functional partners. You will also play an integral role in managing external provider relationships to enhance the Company's FMI risk framework.
In this role, you will:
- Own and manage end-to-end FMI governance including onboarding, due diligence, performance monitoring, and termination
- Participate in ongoing FMI due diligence activities including service reviews, onsite due-diligence, and questionnaires
- Maintain the FMI provider database, implement FMI strategy, and ensure compliance with market regulations
- Engage directly with FMI providers as a primary representative advocating for the Company's business needs
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing leadership reports, policies and procedures
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A self-starter, with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Third-party risk management and regulatory compliance knowledge or experience
- Payment Systems, Securities Settlement Systems, and/or Central Counterparties knowledge or experience
- Network Management (External Financial Institutions and Payment, Clearing & Settlement Office) knowledge or experience
- Consulting firm experience or consulting background
