About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Director within CIB Finance and Global Payments & Liquidity. The role will report directly to the CFO of CIB Banking and Global Payments & Liquidity with accountability and responsibility to the Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Portfolio and Capital Management.
In this role, you will:
- Lead all aspects of the Corporate Banking team including financial planning, financial reporting, and balance sheet and capital management
- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability across Corporate Banking and Portfolio and Capital Management
- Act as a key partner to the Corporate Banking and Portfolio and Capital Management business and provide Finance leadership across all day-to-day aspects of the business
- Develop presentations and analyses in support of business reviews and strategic discussions with management
- Assessment of impacts to the business across regulations (Basel III), Fund Transfer Pricing, liquidity, Allocated Capital with continued refinement of capital optimization strategies for the business
- Deep knowledge of the banking industry and the regulations that impact the industry to provide expert advice to the Banking CFO team members and the Corporate Banking and Portfolio and Capital Management leaders

- 8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Experience within corporate and investment banking disciplines, including investment banking and corporate banking coverage, leveraged finance, capital markets or loan syndications
- Banking industry experience
- Ability to prepare executive-level or client-level presentations and communicate effectively with senior management in a confident and succinct manner
- Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex issues
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding problem solving skills
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
