About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Enterprise Java Developer to join the Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) Hedging and Reporting team within Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization. You will be an individual contributor and technical expert in the development and enhancements of hedging and reporting platforms for MSR business that are used for risk management.
You will collaborate with product and business stakeholders to analyze highly complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, engage other technical teams, as well as outside vendors to provide technical interfaces, estimates and deliverables, design and/or redesign existing complex computer platforms and applications, maintain full project life-cycle tasks, coordinate implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments.
In this role, you will:
- Perform hands-on work for complex initiatives on selected domains
- Design and develop Java and Python code, this is a hands-on coding role
- Participate in all aspects of the Wells Fargo SDLC and technology processes including release management, vulnerability remediation and related tasks.
- Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
- Design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
- Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- Collaborate with your peers to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in Core Java development in an enterprise environment
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server or other similar databases
- 5+ years of experience with SDLC practices, including Agile and DevOps methodologies, and experience in test-driven development (TDD)
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications in a large financial institution
- 3+ years of experience in Python development in an enterprise environment

$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
