Wells Fargo is seeking a Metrics Lead to join our Enterprise Generative AI team. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the measurement framework that guides our GenAI strategy and demonstrates the value of our initiatives. In this role, you will:
- Establish the key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and reporting structures needed to track the adoption, performance, and business impact of GenAI solutions across the enterprise
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop and influence the objectives, plans, and long-term goals for measuring the success and impact of enterprise-wide GenAI initiatives
- Design and establish a comprehensive metrics framework to evaluate GenAI product performance, user engagement, operational efficiency, and financial impact
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to GenAI measurement, requiring in-depth evaluation and creative, innovative solutions
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative solutions for tracking and analyzing GenAI performance data
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise, including product, technology, risk, and finance teams, to ensure alignment on key metrics
- Represent the Enterprise GenAI team in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data and analytics strategies related to AI
- Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on the design and execution of our GenAI measurement and reporting strategy
- 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Engineering, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strategic mindset, deep analytical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership
- Experience defining and implementing metrics, KPIs, and reporting for large-scale technology or product initiatives
- Strong understanding of product analytics, financial analysis, and business intelligence
- Familiarity with the GenAI space and an understanding of its unique measurement challenges and opportunities
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data and technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for an executive audience
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect detailed metrics to broader business objectives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
