Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Manager. This manager position manages a team of Technology Business Systems Consultants providing production support and tier 2 escalation support for all Electronic Commerce Services (ECS) and Instant Payment products, including: Payment Manager, Instant Payments, Receivables Manager, Integrated Receivables, and E-Box. This is a high touch team supporting production support for products that interface with multiple operational groups and payment products including Wires, ACH, Instant Payments, Lockbox, and more. These products are used by many of the largest Global Payments and Liquidity (GPL) clients. This role engages frequently with technology systems, platform support, product management, operations, sales, relationship management, and service teams to resolve complex and escalated issues and provide direction for product and strategy discussions. In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop team of business systems consulting staff or technology systems analysts in providing technical solutions with moderate complexity and risk in the area technology business systems, and engage business and technical groups associated with the function
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk factors in key areas of technology risk including security, stability, and scalability
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding technology or related policies that may impact multiple lines of business
- Interpret business requirements and provide in depth technical expertise and consultation to business and systems management
- Collaborate and consult with business and technical groups or management to ensure effective technical solutions are provided based on business requirements
- Interact directly with technology systems analysts for conducting evaluations of business requirements and recommend appropriate technological alternatives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Business Systems
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- 4+ years of Technology Business Systems, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years Leadership experience
- ECS experience
- Ability to navigate complex situations
- Ability to partner effectively across multiple lines of business
- Knowledge of ECS products
- Experience with ECS applications
- Ability to effectively communicate issues to customers and all levels of leadership
- EDI - Electronic Data Interchange experience
- Background with supporting Mainframe applications
- Operational support background
- Production environment experience
- Experience with data analysis
- Knowledge of file formats
- Experience using business knowledge and critical thinking to resolve issues
- Must be willing to be on call for department 24/7
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
