About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Global Head of Structured Lending in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations, supporting the firm's fastest-growing business. As this growth accelerates, so does the need to support our businesses and partners.
This role will unify complex middle office teams into a Global Structured Lending organization.
Responsibilities include developing a strategy, managing external clients, and engaging internal senior stakeholders.
This role demands a bold, enterprise minded, strategic leader who can architect large-scale change, build and maintain strong relationships to heavily influence senior business heads and stakeholders, to drive measurable and lasting impact.

In this role, you will:
- Manage leaders of global lending closing teams across multiple locations.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive business results.
- Partner with support groups for integration and ongoing business needs.
- Build relationships to share best practices, influence decisions, and ensure efficiencies.
- Improve operations performance to enhance economics, efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management while boosting customer and employee experience.
- Coordinate financial planning, human capital planning, communications, risk reviews, and audits with key partners.
- 8+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- 8+ years of Lending Operations experience
- 4+ years leading change management initiatives and organizational design
- Experience managing global operations, preferably in Commercial Banking or Corporate Investment Banking
- Strong track-record of successfully managing operational processes in complex, matrixed, and dated technological and process environment.
- Proven ability to partner, collaborate, and build relationships across a breadth of stakeholders (LOBs, functional leaders, BPM, HR, Technology, Control, Risk, etc.)
- Partnership approach to responsibilities, including ability to effectively lead (directly and indirectly) across LOBs, peers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Ability to think proactively about business and issues while managing competing priorities and projects effectively for timely delivery.
- Ability to create structure around complex problems to drive solutions
- Extensive experience in risk management, including RCSA, control testing, and issue management
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
