Wells Fargo is seeking a CIB Data Product Owner (Senior Data Management Analyst) to work within the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Data management organization as a Data Product Owner as part of the CIB Chief Operating Office. The CIB Data Management organization provides thought leadership into line of business data strategy, supports the development of simplified data environments to support line of business needs and serves our internal business customers through data advisory and data management support services.

This individual will focus on rationalizing data feeds and redundant applications across CIB, prioritizing based on upcoming business deliverables.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to streamline data sourcing, identify opportunities for consolidation and alignment to strategic data sources, reduce costs, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure consistency with the CIB data strategy.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform hands-on analysis to define requirements and support deliveries, collaborating with technology, operations, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of data feed rationalization roadmaps by analyzing existing feeds, identifying opportunities for consolidation and retirement, and ensuring alignment with business priorities and the CIB data strategy.
  • Drive the implementation of standardized processes to capture and track data feed rationalizations and application retirements, ensuring consistent documentation, stakeholder alignment, and integration with the broader data strategy.
  • Promote the adoption of approved data sources by leading data sourcing and platform rationalization efforts, aligned with the CIB data strategy, through ongoing communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to embed AI and automation into data services, including areas such as data discovery, quality checks, and workflow automation.
  • Contribute to reporting and updates for senior stakeholders on the progress of data feed rationalization and simplification initiatives, including tracking OKRs to ensure measurable outcomes such as feed reduction, simplified data flows, and improved data quality and accessibility.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting data-driven initiatives in financial services or investment sectors (CIB), with a focus on strategic alignment and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to work and influence successfully within a matrixed environment and build effective business partnerships with team members at all levels
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with experience preparing updates and dashboards for senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with agile planning and execution
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$87,000.00 - $140,000.00
