The CIB COO BSE Team, in alignment with Investment Banking's leadership team, is responsible for business management, driving strategy execution, and developing / executing strategy and change initiatives. In this role, you will work within the Change Excellence & Enablement Office (CEEO) working on deliverables and execution priorities related to Enterprise Change Management. This includes monitoring, analysis, and oversight of the CIB-wide Change Initiative portfolio, focusing on CIB's most complex, highest risk, and strategic change initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze the CIB-wide change initiative portfolio for change risk/change governance including overall health, progress, opportunities, defects, and trends.
  • Analyze the CIB-wide portfolio of change management risk issues, including risk drivers, root causes, and remediation plans.
  • Provide actionable next steps and reporting to BSE stakeholders, BSE leaders, and second-line risk partners to effectively manage change and mitigate change risk.
  • Provide oversight for CIB -owned activities related to issue remediation, and challenge resolution.
  • Develop knowledge on key CIB change initiatives, understand strategy, risk, and change drivers for the work, and be able to communicate key details clearly and concisely to BSE stakeholders, BSE leaders and second-line risk partners.
  • Oversee change portfolio performance for the CIB change initiative portfolio.
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the CIB change initiatives.
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for multiple CIB stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and consult with CIB leaders and executive management as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience at a global, highly matrixed financial services firm with an understanding of the Investment Banking businesses with direct experience managing and reporting on extremely large, complex, and group-wide change portfolios, particularly those representing $100MM or more in investment expense.
  • Experience working in or with front-line investment banking teams and leadership.
  • Experience executing large projects/strategic initiatives on complex topics with clear deliverables and recommendations.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations and reporting to conduct complex analysis and communicating results and recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, communicate ideas and results effectively, and drive consensus throughout the organization.
  • The ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and act with urgency when supporting leadership requests.
  • Familiarity with Registry, Agile, and other Change Management tools/methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information.
  • Experience at a Big 4 or other Management Consulting Top Tier Firms
  • Experience building effective partnerships with senior leadership and internal partners
