In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in identifying and originating new relationships within the Early & Growth Stage Technology business segments
- Prospect companies in the Boston market with annual gross sales up to $100MM and remain engaged until prospects are successfully converted to customers
- Partner with Relationship Managers to prioritize prospects, develop pursuit strategy, create proposals, cross-sell appropriate products and services, and manage new customer acquisitions
- Target establishment of fulsome relationships that deliver Wells Fargo's full suite of solutions, including treasury management, deposit, and other credit solutions
- Increase the Technology team's relevance with prospective customers and product partners through consistent marketing efforts and delivery of value added ideas
- Participate in initiatives and deliverables within the Commercial Banking Business Development functional area
- Meet business objectives while leveraging solid understanding of functional area operations, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements with an emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation
- Collaborate and consult with Business Development peers, colleagues, and managers in order to create sales strategies and achieve business objectives

- 5+ years of Commercial Banking Business Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Knowledge of the Technology ecosystem, including relevant companies and the venture capital community
- Direct sourcing and prospecting new clients experience
- Knowledge and understanding of CRM projects, tools, and systems
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple priorities
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. - Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the territory

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$133,300.00 - $237,100.00
